This page will help you to register your nick name create your web chat and register it on our server.

1.Registering your nick: TO TOP

Step1. Log to our IRC server through our web chat :

Nickname:
Channel (Room) name:  

Step2. Make sure your nickname is one you want to use while moderating your chat room. To change your nick type /nick newnick. Replace newnick with the nickname you want to switch to and hit enter. Note: Your nickname should only consist of English letters and may not include spaces and should not include punctuation.


Step3.Copy the following /msg nickserv register password email to the chat client. Replace password with a unique password you can remember, replace email with your email address. Please remember that passwords are case sensitive. Double check your password and email address then hit enter. (When ever you reconnect to the network you will have to Identify yourself to NickServ, to do this you'll type /ns identify password .)

2.Register the channel name: TO TOP

Step1. To create a channel, select a channel name and type /join #channelname. Example, if you wish to select the channel name #MyChannel, you will type /join #MyChannel. Note: Your channel name may only consist of English letters and may not include spaces. Once joined be sure you have Ops (@) besides your nickname.


Step2. To register a channel, you can use /msg chanserv register #channelname password here channel description here. In this example, we will register the channel #MyChannel using yHtU24sm as the password and My First Channel as its description. So, you will type:

/msg chanserv register #MyChannel yHtU24sm My First Channel

Please remember that passwords are case sensitive. Example, COLOR and color are not the same. (If you do forget the channel password, you may use /msg chanserv sendpass #channelname your email .) Once done, you will get a response message from ChanServ informing you it was successful and some information that is important to be read. 3.Creating Web Chat: TO TOP

Step1. Click on on Create webchat link on the left menu

Step2. In the page that would load in your Admin panel click on Create button..

Step3. The New Web Chat form page would load, fill in the necessary fields to customize your chat.

Note:

  1. The Channel name field is required and cant be empty.
  2. Applet language: will effect only the web chat java applet language (buttons etc..).
  3. Show chat room statistics: To choose this option click on Create webchat on the left menu and in the page that would load, click on the Request button next to the web chat that you want statistics shown for. (Note: Adding StatsServ1 to your channel is done manually, so it may take time from few minutes to 24 hours after the request reache us.)

Step4. Click on the Save button to save your chat.

Step5. Click the Create webchat link on the left menu again, your chat will be listed there.To go to your web chat click on the web chat name, to edit it click Edit button, to delete it click the delete button. If you would like to copy and paste your web chat URL link to your Home page click on Copy & Paste Button next to your web chat name.

Step6. To Create a new web chat Click on the Create button under your chat list. Please note that you can create only 5 web chats.

*Please note: Creating your web chat doesn't mean that your channel is register on the server you must register it first before creating it here this step is optional but necessary so you can be sure that you are the owner of the channel on the server.
